Whilst Jock of the 92nd was sitting in the airing cupboard I started thinking about the next project.
I have a couple of Pegaso 90mm Samurai, one of which was bought at EuroMilitaire many years ago,
the other being bought second hand, at our show, recently.
This had been started, the arms fixed and helmet fitted, but it was approx 25% of the current price, so worth the risk!
These two are not designed/intended by the manufacturer to be put together, but it should work (I hope),
anyway, we can but give it a go!

While my eyes recover, I decided to have a go at a cliff face for Coble Landing.
This is layers of packing card, cut up and applied and then coated with ceiling texturing material.
It will require a few coated and some judicious painting.
"judicious painting"....not sloshing it on then?

Thats brilliant!... both the  diorama and the bit of kit!
I've stood the grass up by gently blowing over it, but it does go everywhere!

Seeing as you have set the trend for diorama building and everybody is at
it you could possibly get your money back by hiring it out!

There is a Bit in this months Scale Aviation Mag  informing WW11 diorama builders that ICONICAIR
are about to release a resin David Brown Tugmaster Tractor, which was used to haul the bomb trolleys.
Apparently they do bomb trolleys as well.
There is no mention of scale, which is pretty unbelievable for a Model Mag!

Painted face!
It doesn't look too good in the photo, it is better in reality, honest!
The left eye is not good at all, although it looks to be the better one here.

Face is undercoated with two thin coats of Humbrol flesh. Eyes have neen done , although his left eye is not good! The modeller has
made both eyes a little on the asian style, so going for the Robert Mitchum look!
My photographic skills are not too good either!
I have tried taking pics of the face when it was fully painted, but with the paint being wet there are too many reflections/ shiny bits.
It's in the airing cupboard now.
