Hey! I'm the slow one in this club.
Andy.
Not any more.

I've had a lot more practice than you two!

Spent an hour or two building these workshop tools and fitments, just need to paint them now.
An hour or two???....        it takes me longer than that to decide whether I can be bothered or not!

Fantastic stuff again. Thanks for the info about torpedo nets

349
It all looks great again!

This is the "SMS Szent  Istvan", note the platform around the funnels and the lack of
anti-torpedo nets, I think this is a more interesting looking ship, although, both would be nice.
Haddock.
How do you know "the lack of anti- torpedo nets"?

Will look forward to seeing the face in progress.
So will I!  There's a lot to be said for Knights in armour and gladiators!

I did this figure many years ago. It is manufactured by Stadden, who did a quite comprehensive range of 75mm figures and I did
several of them. Unfortunately, Stadden are no longer in business. These were the days when I was just starting figures and they were painted using Humbrol enamels. I suppose it must be 35 years since I did this.
Anyway, while (whilst?) I think what might be the next "proper" project might be I thought I would have a go at repainting this one, except for the hard stuff like the tartan and the lettering on the base! Effectively it is already undercoated as I use humbrol for that. ( I have more tins of that stuff than Boyes!)
I did decide to take the paint stripper to the  face, as it was pretty awful, and the metalwork on the rifle was stripped as it will be burnished/ washed etc..

Looks like I'm going to be lost for words again!

357
